by Art Nouveau's principle motives of organic, highly-stylized
floral motif. Although it is not as predominant as it was
during the turn of the century, the beauty you find in Alfonso
Mucha's intricate designs and Tiffany's interpretation of
the classic with the modern still resonates strongly in
many things I find surpassingly elegant and exquisite, without
being folksy or quaint. |
